No matter how Alzheimer’s or dementia may affect you, support is only a click away.
At our Chapter, we work to provide the best resources possible for residents in Washington and Northern Idaho. We know it can be hard to travel to in-person programs for caregivers and people living with dementia. That is why we offer support and education you can access anywhere with ALZConnected®.
ALZConnected® is a free online community for everyone affected by Alzheimer’s. This includes those living with the disease, their caregivers, friends, family and neighbors, as well as those who have lost someone to the disease.
ALZConnected® offers multiple support message boards for those affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia. You can create private groups, connect with other users and use the Solutions feature to ask questions about topics including symptoms and family relationships.
ALZConnected® is always available to provide peace of mind. Plus, the site is mobile-friendly, so you can easily find the information or support you need while on the go using your smartphone or tablet. Even for those who aren’t the most tech-savvy, ALZConnected® is a site designed for practicality and user-friendliness. Everyone affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia should have support, and this holiday season, everyone can.
The journey of Alzheimer’s disease or dementia is one that shouldn’t be traveled alone. When one encounters a sharp turn, a dead end or a steep drop there should be someone, or something, there to guide them. ALZConnected® is here for you, anytime, anywhere.
Access ALZConnected® by visiting www.alzconnected.org or click on the “Message Boards” tab through our homepage.
