We are happy to announce our Totally Awesome Total Eclipse Team Challenge Week! Every day the week of August 14-21, your Walk to End Alzheimer’s team will be challenged to eclipse the competition and knock the lights out of Alzheimer’s!
Prizes will be awarded daily, and details of the challenge will be announced via email and social media. Be sure to watch for details starting August 14! But for now, here is a sneak peek of what to expect next week.
Monday, August 14: Don’t be left in the dark! Stay informed by joining your local Walk to End Alzheimer’s Facebook group, and post about your plans to support Walk. Everyone who is a member of the Facebook group and posts on Monday will receive a Walk to End Alzheimer’s window cling!
Tuesday, August 15: Draw others into your orbit by recruiting people to join your team! The team that has the most people register today will win a Pizza Party, and every team captain who recruits six people to join their team will receive a Walk to End Alzheimer’s Team Captain Hat.
Wednesday, August 16: Shine like the sun and customize your Walk page with a story of why you walk and a photo. Each participant who customizes their walk page will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 movie gift card to a theater near you!
Thursday, August 17: Set a stellar example for your supporters by making a self-donation of any amount to your Walk team today, and receive an Alzheimer’s Association bracelet!
Friday, August 18 – Monday, August 21: Blackout the challenge week by completing the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Walk Bingo Card and earn your Walk to End Alzheimer’s T-Shirt. If you raise $100 or more between Friday and Monday, you will also receive a Walk to End Alzheimer’s Tote Bag.
