The last couple of years have been t-o-u-g-h! Just because there is a pandemic, doesn’t mean Alzheimer’s disease or dementia went away. We would like to offer you a chance to take a break, sip some coffee (on us!) and have a virtual chat about person-centered care for people living with dementia.
We’ll provide the coffee and treats; you provide a team of willing listeners who want to increase person-centered care for people living with dementia in your community. This will be an action-oriented discussion focusing on one area of the Dementia Care Practice Recommendations such as person-centered care, medical management, dementia-related behaviors or workforce.
During the chat, Coaches will lead:
- Introduction to the Alzheimer’s Association and the Dementia Care Practice Recommendations
- Discussion of current state of person-centered care
- Setting goals for desired state of person-centered care
- Identifying one practice behavior that each team member can start working on immediately
Virtual coffee breaks are a great chance to treat your staff and learn about person-centered dementia care! We can host up to nine staff at each community. Staff will leave with a great understanding of person-centered care for people living with dementia and something they can dig in on immediately!
Spots are filling up fast! To reserve a 2022 date contact:
